The Gothenburg Public School System has a full time registered nurse who coordinates health services. She conducts health screening on students annually. Should you have any concern about your child's hearing or vision she can evaluate him/her at any time during the school year. A written health services referral will be sent to parents whenever a concern is found on any screening procedure.
When children are not well they should not be sent to school. Children who have vomitted or had diarrhea 12 hours prior to the starting time of school should not come. Children with the following conditions will be sent home: -vomitting |
